Happy New Year

As the new year just started, I thought it would be appropriate to do a post on my favourite items of 2013. So without further ado, here we go!

The Our Moment perfume by One Direction.
As a huge directioner since 2011 I must say this is like my dreams came true. It smells like a unicorn sleeping on cloud no 9. Sweet but not annoyingly sweet. A thumbs up from me.

The fujifilm mini 8 camera was one of my best investigations this year and I've been loving it to death. It captures all the remarkable moments and you can bring it everywhere. Plus I mean: Can we just talk about the colour range?! A light blue camera? How cute is that?

My new iPhone 5s in gold. Definitely worth the money. Love it. Well, I only got it at the 31st December 2013 but I think that still counts for 2013, doesn't it?

My fav books 2013:
1) Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant (still sobbing)
2) The selection series
3)The frost series
4) Percy Jackson
5) City of series

Those are just a few faves from the 72 books I read in 2013

Book Review Divergent aka this book will burn your soul and push your empty body of a cliff

So, since I'm a procrastinator- at least on fridays- I decided to do a blog post about the Divergent series by Veronica Roth. It just became so current today because one of my friends started reading it and I got really emotional- not that I would let everyone know, my face was a smiling mask. But before I spoiler and you get mad, I should probably tell you about the theme, content and what I think about it.
"Divergent" is a book about a young girl (16) called Beatrice (Tris) who lives in a city which location or population is not examined more closely- we only know about the political system. In this dystopian society, people are put into factions. There are 5 of them: Abnegation (the selfless), Erudite (the intelligent), Candor (the honest), Amity (the kind) and Dauntless (the brave ones).
The protagonist Tris Prior is born into Abnegation, but when you're 16 you make a test which determines in which faction you would belong. You can choose to change your faction after the test and this is exactly what Tris does: Going from Abnegation to Dauntless. BUT the test didn't explicitly say that she belongs to dauntless, it said that she's divergent. The reader doesn't immediately know what that means, only that it apparently is extremely dangerous.
The reader  follows Tris in her journey, where she finds herself and learns a lot about moral decisions and self-sacrifice.
Let me just say: This book is almost too good, just like omg ahhh SO GOOD.
The second book is on the same level as the first one and the end of the third book literally kills you. Like I was sobbing. It was like an ocean of tears. Everyone who read it will understand.

And now away from that formal stuff to the girly talkymalky shit:  Can we just discuss how perfect Shailene Woodley as Tris is?! And Kate Winslet as Jeanine is UGH WHY U SO PERFECT TOO? It's just the best cast I could wish for. I think Theo James as Four..well to me he looks like a Hollywood actor and not like just Four but he embodies Fours character so good that I found peace again. Also he looks kinda sexy so I'm fine.
I just cannot wait for the movie, even though I will probably have to go on my own because all I will think of during the film will be the end of Allegiant and I will probably cry okay bye.
Just read this f****ng book and you will understand. You will understand.
Srsly.
In love, a fangirl.
